This listing features a Lot of Four circa 1910s Louvre Museum Paintings Black and White Lithographed Postcards. Two of these postcards' dates to before 1907, and the others were manufactured after 1907, as identified by the presence of a dividing address and correspondence line on the reverse. The dividing line on the back of postcards was only allowed to be added to postcards starting in 1907, so the postcard without the back divider was printed before then. The postcards in this lot all depict a piece from the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. The works include "Portraits de Madame Lebrun at de sa Fille", "Sainte Monique et Saint Augustin", "La belle Jardiniere", and "Le Venus de Milo". All postcards are unposted, but each have writing on the front with the date "Wed A.M. Aug. 16th", likely the date and time when the original owners of the postcards visited the museum! Stunning antique cards that show famous artworks! Great condition. Amazing and unique find!
