This listing is for the photographed Antique Korean Brass and Wood Seal Box. Korean seal boxes were particularly used by Joseon Dynasty who ruled from 1392-1910. Korean seals were used for everything, involving political matters to everyday personal usage. The boxes the seals kept within them were uniquely crafted and would reflect the status of the owner. The box is able to open by sliding the right knob at the front to the right, and can close by putting the latch down and pressing the right knob leftwards. This particular item has a harder time being closed than opened.
