I found this coin years ago on a trip to Sicily. I was instantly stunned by the beauty of the design and purchased it immediately. Minted in 83.5% silver, this L.500 from 1960 is a stunning example of Italian artistic genius and in a nearly uncirculated (unused) condition, it is a great coin to commemorate an event or bring into a collection.
