Depicted is a beautiful sterling silver pendant with a cross/crucifix pendant with a turquoise stone lying at the intersection of the pendant and stamped "925 " on the back. There is also a cool jagged pattern around the stone moving outwards. The Navajo believed turquoise was a sacred stone used for protection from evil, good fortune, and health. The turquoise blue is very special in Navajo culture resembling the sky and water.
