This listing is for the photographed 1946 Banque de France 100 Francs Banknote. This note was issued April 18th, 1946, an earlier date for this issue of 100-franc notes! Signed by Bank General R. Rousseau and Secretary General R. Favre-Gilly. The obverse of this note shows a farmer boy holding a tool with a cow behind him at the center. The reverse shows Frenchmen and cherubs laboring on a shipyard, an allegory for the prospering of French labor. Fine (F) grade/condition, many folds and some tears due to circulation, as pictured.
