This listing is for the photographed 1986 Tanzania 100 Shillings/Shilingi Banknote. No date printed on this issue. The map on the reverse if the note includes the islands to the right of the country outline, unlike other issues. The obverse of this note shows a portrait of President J. Nyerere at the right end, a torch at the left end, and the country's coat of arms at the upper center. The reverse displays the graduation procession at the center, a building at the left, torch at right, and an outline map of Tanzania including the islands at the upper center. Fine (F) grade/condition, many visible signs of circulation. P#14a (Pick Number 14a). Great note in excellent condition! Cool piece of history.
