This listing is for the photographed 1908 William O'Connell Boston Archbishop Pendant. Cool sterling silver pendant featuring William O'Connell the Archbishop of Boston. The pendant was made as a commemorative medal for the 100th anniversary of the Boston Catholic Diocese, and with William O'Connell being the archbishop at the time, they put his face on the medal. The back of the pendant reads  "Anno Centisimo Dioeceseos Feliciter Peracto, Vigor In Arduis," which means "The hundredth year of the Diocese successfully completed, vigor in hardship".
